Off-Season Travel

Off-Season Travel - A Tour Operator and Introverts Insight

As an introvert, I cherish my alone time and seek peaceful surroundings to recharge my batteries. This is why I prefer traveling in the off-season, despite being asked why we don’t offer our small-group tours outside of the United States during the peak summer months.

There are many benefits to an off-season trip. With fewer crowds and lower prices, you can explore destinations with ease and without the stress of navigating through loads of other tourists and locals during their summer holidays. I also find that traveling during this time offers a unique opportunity for meaningful interactions with locals, resulting in a more authentic experience that will not only leave a lasting impression, but even friendships for life!

I also appreciate supporting local businesses that rely on tourism in their “off-season”. And with a tour operator taking care of all of the details you can rest easy and be in the moment, which ultimately leads to lower stress levels. Exploring and relaxing – that is what a holiday is all about!

These benefits are not exclusive to introverts – anyone can experience the rejuvenating and unique travel experiences that come with traveling in the off-season. So why not give it a try? Our Essence of Portugal trip from October 29 – November 9, 2023 is the perfect way to experience the benefits off-season travel!
