This morning we board our ship for Whale Watching in the Salish Sea. As we cruise the San Juan Islands, we’ll search for Orcas, Minkes, and Humpback whales and have lunch on board the ship. Once in town, the evening is yours to sample the fine Northwest cuisine and famous craft beer scene. (B,L)
Today we head for the mountains. The North Cascades National Park is one of North America's most remote and rugged landscapes. With stunning vistas and accessible trails you'll enjoy lunch and full day in the mountains. To finish the day, Winthrop, with its western charm, and the Methow Valley, will offer a truly unique experience. (B,L)
After a hearty breakfast, we follow the "river of the west", the mighty Columbia, through the orchards and vineyards as we travel to the Bavarian town of Leavenworth. You may choose to wine taste, go rafting, or simply take in this beautiful town in a stunning location. Tonight we visit a local beer garden for some local brews and fine sausages. (B,R)
This morning, we head to the Emerald City of Seattle. One of the great cities of the west, we'll visit the iconic Pikes Place Market with time explore on your own. Tonight we have a farewell dinner and a stay at a downtown hotel. (B,D)
