The best pumpkin pie!

You know a recipe is a keeper when the instructions are fading and the paper it is writen on is torn and stained with wine and coffee. Combine this filling with your favorite pie crust for a rich, simple, and delicious pie that is sure to please!

Glaeser Family Pumpkin Pie

1 C Sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Cloves
1 1/2 C Pumpkin (fresh or can - fresh is best!)
1 can Evaporated Milk
2 eggs well beaten

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Combine the sugar, salt, and spices in a large bowl. Add the pumpkin, milk and eggs and beat until smooth. Pour in to a pie shell and bake for 15 minutes at 425 then reduce heat to 350 and bake for an additional 25 minutes.

Filling = 2 pies.
